Signature vs edit - what's the diffrence?

Our Signature and Edit collections are designed with different homes in mind — but both are crafted with the same level of care and detail.

Signature Range

Designed for standout curb appeal. Signature signs feature a stepped, coffered interior inspired by the architectural forms of the Pantheon in Rome. The deeper borders and refined silhouette make this a true design statement — adding presence and character to any home.

Edit Range

A more compact, minimalist alternative. Edit signs offer simplified borders and a cleaner edge profile while retaining the architectural depth and fine-line detail you’d expect from us. Around 60% smaller than the Signature, but still a large sign compared to most offered alternatives on the market. Designed to keep the same balanced address layouts as the Signature — not compromising text size, nor design and shape. Carefully scaled to remain eye-catching on any home.

Quick Tip:

  • Detached house? Go Signature.
  • Semi-detached? Try Edit.
But ultimately, the right choice depends on your exterior layout, wall space, and viewing distance.

The Craft Behind Every Sign

Every sign begins in one of our own handcrafted silicone moulds. These aren’t off-the-shelf forms — they’ve been developed in-house to capture crisp lines, smooth finishes, and refined edges.

The 24-Hour Casting Process

We utilise a specialised casting process that requires a full 24 hours per sign. This ensures strength, longevity, and crisp lines - no shortcuts.

Filling & Refinement

Once demoulded, each casting is inspected and filled by hand to remove tiny surface bubbles. This stage takes care and patience - it's what gives our signs that flawless finish.

Glazing

We finish every sign with a specialist coating that adds UV, dirt, and weather resistance. It's an extra step - but one that protects your sign for years to come.

Typography & Creating the Perfect Address Layout

Typography isn’t just about choosing a font (it is), but it’s about precision and clarity.

Each letter is individually hand-weeded from high-quality vinyl, and then reverse-applied to the back of your panel for extra UV protection and a glass-gloss effect. There’s no text on the front, which gives a premium finish and creates clean negative space between each letter and the background.

This technique allows light to pass through every detail, giving your sign its sharp, crisp look — whether in full sun or deep shadow. It’s the kind of subtle refinement you might not notice at first, but once you see it, you’ll never unsee it.

Traditional Meets Modern - Introducing Printed Signs

We’ve used the same hand-weeding method since we first introduced Perspex signage — and it remains a core part of our studio process.

But to bring more colours and finer detail to your front door, we now offer a range of printed front panels as well.

Why Printed Panels?

  • More colour options.
  • Finer line details and illustraions.
  • New finishes and layered textures not possible with vinyl alone.

Availble 2026.
